The short version

This site collects your email address if you join the mailing list. That's it. There are no ads, no tracking cookies and no analytics scripts.

If you join the list

When you sign up, your email address goes to Bento (bentonow.com), the service that sends the letters. To keep spam sign-ups out, Bento also checks the address and sees the IP address and browser details of the sign-up request. We record which page you signed up from.

Your address is used only to send letters from RM Peacock: news from the farm and the trail, and word about new books. It is never sold or shared for anyone else's marketing. Every letter has an unsubscribe link, and one click takes you off the list.

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic request information (such as IP addresses) to deliver pages and stop attacks.

Links to other sites

The buy buttons go to Amazon, and the social links go to Instagram and Facebook. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Questions

To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, send a message on Instagram or Facebook.
